Types of RVs and trailers we insure

Do you drive your RV? Here are the categories of motorhomes that we typically insure:

Class A Motorhomes

The largest type of motorhome, ranging in length from 21 -v40 feet in length.

Class B Motorhomes

The smallest type of motorhome, commonly known as "camper vans".

Class C Motorhomes

Mid-size RV's ranging from 20 - 33 feet in length, also known as "mini-motorhomes".

Do you tow your RV with another vehicle? We specialize in covering travel trailers:

Conventional Trailers

Travel trailers used for camping and vacationing, ranging from 12 - 40 feet in length.

Utility Trailers

Small trailers designed to carry ATVs, boats, equipment and other cargo.

Cargo and Horse Trailers

Large enclosed trailers used for transporting animals, vehicles and other cargo.

Pop-Up Campers

Small camping trailers built with collapsible walls for easy towing.

Truck Campers

A type of RV where the living space sits in the bed of a pickup truck.

Fifth Wheel Trailers

These trailers feature a raised front section, providing more living space.

RV insurance with a wide range of coverages for optimum protection

Whether you're on the road, at a campsite or park, or living in your RV full-time, our specialized coverage can safeguard you and your RV against unexpected situations.

Liability

For motorhomes: RV liability coverage is required in nearly every state and can pay for property damage and injuries you cause to others, as well as legal expenses.

For travel trailers: Bodily injury and property damage liability coverages aren’t available because the vehicle pulling your trailer already provides the liability coverage.

Comprehensive and Collision

RV comprehensive and collision coverages safeguard against physical damage and loss. If you finance or lease your RV, both coverages are usually required by your lender.

Comprehensive covers incidents beyond your control, including theft, vandalism, fire, and weather-related issues. Note: you typically won't be able to purchase a travel trailer policy without comprehensive coverage.

Collision covers damage to your RV if you collide with an object or vehicle.

Total loss replacement

We'll pay to replace your totaled travel trailer or motorhome with a brand new one, minus your deductible, so long as your RV is five model years old or less.

If your RV is older than five model years, you'll receive the amount specified in your policy.

Replacement cost/personal effects

We cover your personal property inside your motorhome or travel trailer, up to the limits you specify.

Vacation liability

If someone is hurt in or around your RV while you’re on vacation, you’ll have liability coverage up to $10,000. For a minimal cost increase, you can upgrade to $500,000 in coverage. In addition to coverage at your campsite, vacation liability also provides protection when your RV is placed in a storage facility and not being used as a temporary residence.
